For some time i trying to get one of this gold nuggets from Brisbane river .
I try so many time , so many places and so many techniques but whit no luck:( was only one think left to be l try .Or was just my time cam to sign in ::)
I herd of this new lure home maid lure and people talking of very good success so i of to try them too

Boy boy boy this fish is amazing to hook up most fish thay take and run but this fish are all over the place when thay hit ,it is just amazing .
frankoo u got to be proud of me this lure are soft plastic mate:)

As i say i never got any but this time i got 5 and 3 jump off it was amazing .
I believe it it could get more but i lost my 2 lures. Mate got 2 and lost one

all up we had around 10 fish and thay all got putt back in water for another day fight. Only one i take home as fish swallow the lure and start to bleed to much .
I can tall you thay are very good eating :D i may keep next time 2 of fish.

gear i was using spinner rod whit 12 lb mono line
and all fish was under miter
so next time got to try to crack that 1000mm one:D

Might have been the new plugs you were using, but I think the bloke that was with you had a big bearing on the outcome as well .

From none to so many you ran out of tackle. Well done mate thats a hot nights fishing. They are a freaky looking fish arn't they with a huge rib cage when filliting. Taste good.

i have to say my mate was bit hopeless that night Jeff ;D

he made me to give him my rod as he thought his rod and line was not good ;D ;D

nothing was wrong whit his rod and line i got fish on it too but he kept fishing with my rod 8-)

the big credit will go to member from AF
after few email exchanges i fixed my mistakes and got them

Thanks for sharing, that is one red hot session that you blokes had. Thats the sort of thing we expect to happen in a remote cape York river..........not Brisbane!!!
