Fished the north end yesterday arv/ evening and didnt get a single hit from a Tailor, only a couple of Bream and a good Dart, headed further south( not as far as Burleigh) today with a mate and got amongst them, kept a dozen between us for a feed but could have bagged out if we wanted, they were thick !!, good to get some action!!;D

So that would put you somewhere between Main Beach & north Burleigh then.

I was never any good at cryptic clues.

I found em thick on thursday night down my way, but all around 38cm. Still, they were out in force.

Jason, we got them on bonito but the two blokes beside us were using pillies, fish came on about 4pm and we had our fish inhalf an hour, they were still on the burst when we left with another hour or so before dark.

Greenie, we were south of Broadbeach mate and no where near Burliegh, although the mail is that they are thick in front of the rocks at Burliegh heads and Fingal, even in the middle of the day !!

i tried on friday and saturday nights at southport and never got one hit from em! only got a few small dart! no keepers

Got some more this arvo, in the seaway, went out to the bait reef to get yakkas/ slimeys for an upcoming trip and found them chopping on the surface on the way back through to the broadwater, were hitting 5" minnows dragged through them(bombers, husky jerks) every pass.
