Ok so the day started well....alarm went off in the middle of a dream about that blonde chick on underbelly......get out of bed and go...down the ramp at shorncliffe....NO one in the carpark....out to Mud....1....count them 1 boat there...stayed about an hour...dead quite...decided to take a run seeing it was so calm down to the arty reef 5 mins in this weather...3 boats there...2 just left...went to a mark i had there....dead....over to the sandhills and up to the the 4 beaccons.....lost a few baits..over to the wreaks....(no birds seen on the way)....hmm 1 wind boat, 2 show off boats...no one there fishing......sat there awhile.....nothing.....upto curtin.....one boat...they were diving....caught several about 30 cm fish what were they... (post pic soon for ID)....lost a squire...that was it...back to sandgate.......i felt like i missed something??......where were the boats?...fish i can understand, i can never find them...but with ok weather i was suprised by the lack of boats

Yeah i've caught them jigging the beacons in the bay and the pylons at Dunich. They look like AJ's and does anyone know if they get any bigger in the bay or do they move out to deeper water?
