Brissy river exploration

Hey guys I left from the pink boat ramp at 5am to work on my plasics technique and just explore the river a little. I fished the wharves b4 sunrise then moved to some different structure and some rock walls! Ended up with 1 cod 45cm+ that i dropped cms 4 the net :-[ 4 bream between 27- 30 cm and and 1 36cm which wasn't 2 bad! I also met fellow Ausfisher Shaun who gave me some great tips! All in all it was a good day Im still new to QLD and plastics but im getting there slowly!

Fished the river yesterday morn . Didn't fire up for us as well.What sort of boat were you fishing out off?

I was out there also yesterday.

We started inside, then headed out to the port extension.

Hey cheif i was fishing out of a white 4.1m Brooker with a mercury outboard and a minn kota rip tide, was that u who I spoke to briefly while u were fishing for squire?

No didn't have a chat to anyone monday just saw a trophy and an edgetracker on the water.Thought you may have been one of those

wat boat were u in harry?

I was in the Red and White Crusader, with the white canopy.

We started from the Pink at around 4.30am, and then went out the front just after the sun got up.

We were anchored up on the terminal side of the wall when the dredge came into the river. Almost got swamp like the previous day.

Simon,what plastics have you found successful on the bream?

As I said I haven't had a real lot of success with plastics but I was using 3in lime tiger gulp jerk shad! what about u cheif wat have u found successful?
