I picked up a new tank from Ark Engineering and plan to put it in the old Viking tomorrow. Goes underfloor.
Where would be the best position to put it at the back?
I have one breather outlet on the tank that is 16mm.
Should i form a loop with the hose?
I've done my usual hardware trick and purchased 3 breathers and will return the not needed.

cheers

Seafarer seems to have them fitted up high in the well in front and to the side of the front of the outboard motor. Mine has two breathers from the tank to two hooded outlets.

or you can spend $10 and buy a "proper" breather valve http://www.whitworths.com.au/main_itemdetail.asp?item=13532&search123=breather&intAbsolutePage=1 that has an internal baffle to stop water getting in.
