went for a run today looking for anything speedie.

from the seaway to palmie and back to the seaway to Curran Cove and back.
and as for the Fishing!!!!!!
the water was beautiful.:D
gentle swell, little wind.:D
NO Birds.:-/
NO fish.:'(
NO boats, well less than 5 boats seen from seaway to palmie.:-/

the plus side I got a chance to do a fuel check.
the new motor is nicely run in, the fuel figures so far are.
3.3Klms per litre thats pretty good for a 115hp.
the old 90Hp only got 2.2klms per litre.
the new boat and motor perform almost exactly the same as the old boat.
4000rpm is 30knts
5000 is 40knts.
I'm rapt.
the fishing sucks but.

Don't worry mate you had the same luck as most did today with the toothy critters from what my workmate say's . He was out today around the usual haunts and saw and caught zip . Green water , lots of crap in it and nothing on the sounder - typical northerly conditions in close . I'm gonna sleep in now tomorrow .
