I finally tracked down a good quality multi-piece spin rod, it's a diawa heartland-S
HL-S 604ULFS
UL Spinning 2-4 lb. 1/16-3/8 oz.
6' 4-piece
Looks great, feels great can't wait to christen it.

Gidday Brett,
Feels like a great rod, I was very happy with $155, another shop tried to charge me $180, lucky I didn't have the cash at the time or I would have bought it.
I am thinking about loading my stradic up with 4lb and taking it for a bit of a spin sess just to put it through it's paces, should be fun LOL zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz LOL
Any pointers about it? Any weaknesses (apart from the obvious number of joins)??

What about those green Shakespeare multi piece rods, has anyone any comments on them?
