It also has the old blue style lowrance connector. Hard to find these days. Ebay probably the best bet unless someone has an old one laying around.

    Re: module extension lead

This article shows how the system was originally supplied

    http://support.lowrance.com/system/s...RTICLE_ID=2551

Parts will be difficult to find as they were discontinued years ago. If you can get your hands on a plug to fit the back of the unit a harness can possibly be made by cutting the plug off the antenna and using a different cable and resistors but without the plug to fit the socket on the unit you have no way of plugging it in. The other option is to source Lowrance blue to red NMEA connector adapters - will be 2 required and a NMEA2000 starter kit - will cost a bit by the time all the necessary bits are purchased and if the antenna dies (not uncommon with that series)

    Re: module extension lead

connectors can be had from RS Australia if you want to roll your own. Look for conxall. RS does free delivery.

    Re: module extension lead

I have never seen aftermarket of the older lowrance stuff - proprietary connectors as far as I knew but conxall may have made or copied them. The other connector that fits is the old 5 pin grey Lowrance connector that was on the cable that connected the old Globalmap 1000, 2000 (maybe there was a 3000 as well) to the remote chart reader module. The wires and shield are a different pin out but I have used them on a few NMEA connections due to the blue series connector being unavailable and having them as an option.

    Re: module extension lead

Lowrance use conxall. I was using back when I was an apprentice 25 years ago, thats how I know the brand of connector. You may not be able to buy the blue ones, but you can get black. We used to buy premade cables from them with moulded connectors and you could choose what ever colour or flavour you wanted.
