I cut one out of a crab pot the other day. He was stuck on a mud bank and the tide was coming in. Owner of the pot would have thought he'd been robbed no doubt

Leave him there, no doubt he will drown when the tide comes in. Big bait might attract big crabs. Not worth messing with when you can get that exact pot from Kmart for $17!
