I need one built too but am going with ally!
I have a friend who owns an engineering shop and will be asking the question tomorrow. If cheap enough I will get him to build me a full pod as well!

Good question, It's an addition and I just assumed the existing was stainless, will have a look and confirm.

    Hi Garry

Yes the existing is an aluminium not stainless as I assumed At the moment I have a 280 l tank which is not enough for my three day trips. I do have two of the liquid containment bladders and they have been fantastic for the past few years but the problem is they have made my boat a bit too top heavy as they sit up on the side Gunnels. I have an underfloor storage area which is right next to the existing fuel tank and is roughly 1000 x 560 x 300 which I was wanting to convert into a secondary fuel tank.

There is a fella at Belmont that has made custom tanks and bits and pieces for me. He works from home, good bloke and very resonable prices, i've put a few blokes from here onto him over the years.
Pm if you would like his number.
    cheers
