Is that 4 rods per person which are actually being used (fished with) at one time or just on board and not being used?
can have 4 rods per angler (lisenced) on a boat here in vic. its more about being able to position the rods exactly where you want it.
Is that 4 rods per person which are actually being used (fished with) at one time or just on board and not being used?
starting to get to the goodies section of the build
On the roof we have two 80w thunder mono solar panels
Stainless steel Shakespeare VHF/ AM/FM whips
Hella Seahawk XLR front flood lights, all using Scanstrut glands to maintain our 7 year workmanship guarantee
Overhead compartment features our backlit moose marine logo "because why not!"
Raymarine RA73 AIS/VHF , Fusion RA670 stereo, the Carling rocker switch for the forward flood lights, and the very awesome Simarine Pico monitor "more on that later"
So shes coming together
Love that flir camera Anthony i know one would have to win lotto to buy one but out of curiously what would one cost?
that is a M132 Tilt 9hz camera. they are about $3800, about 500 more for the M232 for TIlt and Pan feature
How far at night can they see say in calm seas? would be really cool feature to have on a offshore boat if a man went overboard
they really are. paired with an axiom system they have "clear cruise analytics" which automatically targets objects and highlights them with a square yellow box
These are lower end FLIR cameras mind , though they will spot a 6mt boat at 2km (from my own testing) and a person in the water at 1.5km
FLIR have just released their new M300 series cameras "below the flagship M500 Cryocooled camera range) of which mutli sensors are involved. low light high def day night cameras, flood light and thermal all blending together to give crazy detail colour nightvision.
1500m wow thats crazy technology at that distance a person in the water would be a tiny dot
a few more progress shots of our mega 795 project
We added a p70rs controller for the raymarine autopilot
routed the cabling for the swimplatform lights into the fibreglass supports, keep it all hidden and secure
added the zipwake 300s interceptors
installed the raymarine axiom pro 12rvx and zipwake controller
The wiring behind the scenes though! woah!
795 mega build coming to the pointy end of the process
Batteries have been fitted. we made up some mounting surfaces and hold downs for the two Lion abtteries 120AH batteries with the engine start battery mounted in the factory original spot
a new floor was build in the storage locker to cover the ilge pump, seacock, live well pump deck wash pump and three transducers. keeping things neat and tidy!
mounted the 12v ss horn on the roof as you do!
live well all pumbed and ready with aerator head and Hella blue light.
Today we are finishing up the wiring. and she will be ready for water tests!
Toot Toot
Extra bow eye and boat catch fitted
amazing how much you can add...
So she is just about done. we took her out for some sun at a local fishing club event day ,
we have had the stone guards fitted. Our baitboard is just about done. the awesome Seagrass flooring is in. just about all the wiring is complete. just a bit of hydraulics left and she is water ready
