    Mud island

Fished SE corner on Monday and scored some nice squire with the best going 3.5KG. Biting on fresh squid and dropped a couple of very good fish.

    Re: Mud island

HI The deepest spot off the s/e cardnial is 18m, unless you start heading right out into the bay.
I found some water coming back from the four beacons yesterday, and it wasnt in the shipping channels, and shit loads of fish on the sounder, and the deepest section was 32m, susprising what you find when you take shortcuts, it was n/e of mud , took a gps mark for it and will be doing some more searching.
    regards

Only fishing in about three meters but noticed lots of hardiheads and whitebait. Small fish a problem but some good ones amongst them.

    Good one Merv,

I would have thought you'de convince Kev to leave the boat at your place
If the weather is good the beacons are worth a shot.

    Cheers,
    Rich.
