    Lake Borumba

    Hi there I would like to go to Lake Borumba again . Was there last, The Last week of Xmas school holidays was very hot ]and no fish were caught by my mate or Me .
    I would like some help as to what we did .We tryed catching Shrimp in trap but they were very small and not a strikes we tryed trolling with stumpjumpers lures no luck . any
    suggestion Please.

    Harry my name is Danny and i have fished Borumba dam 4 about 6 years. We have found the best time to be throught summer 4 sarratoga, now i know it may sound strange but we found the best way to catch toga was to use a float and a wide mouth hook about 1mt under the surface using just salt water prawns.The start of winter you can get some good BASS ,i caught 8 in 2 hours ,largest was 5lb useing live shrimp, just find the drop offs 4mt to12 mts if you can and fish down the slop.
