Offshore Straddie
Well I have been off there a couple of times but am hoping to head out to flat rock or boat rock in the holidays
and was wondering where would be the best place to fish out there. I've tried the 7's reef, flat rock and middle reef with only moderate succes. Is it better to head down to the cathedrals or out to the 29's or what ??? Also what can we hope to catch. Not asking for secret spots or anything just the beter areas where we might pick up a feed.
Cheers, Lachie

I am sure there are a lot of fish on those reefs Lachie, if a feed is all your after you couldnt go wrong. Cathedrels is always good if the current isnt to strong, I find fishing this area in general it helps to find fish on the sounder and get your sinkers and rigs setup for the current on the day, some guys catch more than others, I guess the fish are getting smarter.
