Stanage Bay Trip, Help needed
I have been asked to go for a week at Stanage Bay with some other blokes that have never been to the area.
The accomodation is all booked and we seem to have the trip pretty well covered in all ways except for some marks for bait grounds and marks for fishing spots.
We are looking at fishing around the Hexams and a little wider.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Stanage Bay Trip, Help needed
there is a good channel between hexham and shield
about 30m deep
you will have to fish in 30+mts to catch fish consistantly throughout the day
if you have a good gps it will show plenty of reef in the area
there is heaps of places to go
if the wind is up go into lola mantis channel at the dukes
very protected good luck hope this helps
its hard to get any info off anyone about stanage![]()

angla , the road in has just been graded, so you wont have the 100ks of corrogations to contend with. as for fishing when the fan permits you should do ok ask around up there for local advice , get some charts of the area so you know your zones and pack the areogaurd.. the fishiers inspectors are also working the area as well so do the right thing, cheers barfly

Barfly, Thanks for that. We are prepping the stone guards on the trailer (shadecloth) in ready for the dirt road. Just hope all goes well and there are no breakdowns for any of the team.
