Cool Well the top one is a spotie trevelly i use to catch few of them and same at golden trevelly so it would be a 8kg mark but i have seen them bigger than the bottom that went over 15kg i had a great fun fighting them on my 6kg line it,s so awsome as i couldn,t swipe my smile off that day

    Mick,

I believe you are spot on with the I.D. my guess....
    golden trev 9 kg
    GT 12 kg

be interested to know what the actual weights were when you post them

    Re: Guess the weight?

Jeremy, I forgot to weigh them. Recently found out that the world record for Golden Trev is 15kg (spearfishing) and I was wondering how far off I was. I was just trying to get the best estimate.

My guess is 7-8kg for the golden and 11-12kg for the GT.

Sti brumby, I wrote 'translation anyone' because I can barely understand what slyham wrote. As for what col aus wrote..., well I don't know what that means either, with the poking toung face? What is wrong with you people? >

    Re: Guess the weight?

Thanks guys. Got to aim for that 15kg Golden Trev world record. I think the world record for GT is around 51kg and I aint going anywhere near a 51kg GT!

    Re: Guess the weight?

this GT is a bit bigger and is 20 kg so yours could have been a little more than 12 kilo
