There seems to be a few gold members who have less than 100 posts and quite a few with less than 200.

It says I've got 82 at present but its been 82 for months now - even though I've left quite a few more posts, it still just stays at 82. And I'm sure it'll still say 82 after this post...

Maybe I'm in a rut.

I was just having a look at the Profile Stats again and saw that I have 1 referral.

What's a referral?

Does that mean I'm in trouble or do I need to see a dentist?

It means that a new member has registered and said that you referred them to the site.

Im sure there is a few out there who will agree with me in saying that over the last year many of the new members think that your fishing experience is ranked by what colour you are on ausfish, therefore going GOLD within a few months, and then boasting how happy they are. It took me 2 years as a silent member before i even joined as a member and that was because of a new members "load of crap" story that i couldnt help but intervine with. I say spend more time out on the water boys and less in front of the box. Muz

Also this part of the forum which is full of rubbish shouldn't add to your post count. And mix it's not just new members half the 1000 posters are FOS too IMHO
