16 New 1500 Metre Exclusion Zones - GN Sharks
Check out the following site to see how effective conservationists are in NSW at calling for 1500 metre exclusion zones for 16 areas in NSW to allegedly protect grey nurse sharks.

I quote from the website
"the incidence of hooking grey nurse sharks in south-eastern Australian waters was seven times greater with lighter gear used by recreational fishers (hook and nylon line) than it was using commercial gear (hook with steel trace)." (Otway et al. 2004)
Could some one please tell me where they come up with this info.
This is a other case of we are going to bash the recreational fishers again.

Sure is unless recreational fishers can provide evidence to refute it because "they" use Otway as scientific evidence.Originally Posted by Water_Tower_Bait_n_Tackle
