I'm thinking about a weekender at Boondooma soon, can anyone give any info or hints on camping up there?

Went there in middle of February. Was 32% capacity.
Was able to find a flat area to camp on and leave the boat in the water for the 4 days.
It was the first time my boat had been in fresh water(being a salt water fisho)& had a great time trying to catch Bass.
Bob who looks after the place is a top bloke & will point you in the right dirrection if needed.

So will I need to book? is that even possible? Do I just turn up and buy a camping permit on the day?

    Camping should be no problems.

If you want a cabin, you'll need to book early especially during the holiday seasons.
