    Tyre size calculator that works

Hi. I am using; http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp to compare tyre sizes and it works good. I know it's canadian, but also gives and idea of what's available in certain sizes and brands. Hope this is useful to someone. cheers john

I thought a tyre of say 235/75/15 were all the same size.
But I was wrong. They vary between manufacturers which I found out when I got some new tyres and the new ones had less tread width and a higher profile.....all the same 235/75/15 written on them though.
I intend on living for-ever....so far so good

There's also a calculator on the exploroz site.
Some of the tyre manufacturers have overall diameter listed for each tyre on their web site too.
