OZ Craft 640
Hi All,
Just joined the forum and though i would post pics of my boat build.
Purchased a OZ Craft 640 package from the lads at Brisbane Yamaha and have been able to take photos of the boat during construction. Currently the boat has about 2 more weeks at the boat builder then off to Brisbane yamaha to be fitted.
Cant wait to get it out on the water with the friends and family.
I will try and load the pics in a line with the production.
Cheers OZ

Re: OZ Craft 640
Hi Mate did anyone mention possibility of floatation under floor very good inclusion if possible in build process as it quietens ride considerbly and ofcourse makes them very safe just my opinion cheers Rod

Re: OZ Craft 640
Hey Guys,
Thanks for offering to do the sea trials, i am hoping to have a moon boot by time the boat is ready to go
The boat is made by Performance Plate Boats at Brendale, they make it for Brisbane Yamaha to sell.
The boat has standard under floor foam floatation, which will make the ride a little quieter.
The bloke in the photo is my mate, he was inspecting the boat for me as he has built a few in the past......
The boat is solid as and cant wait to get it wet.
Cheers Dale

Re: OZ Craft 640
Updated photos.
So another week has passed and the boat is getting closer to getting wet.
The Cabin is made and the hardtop is nearly finished.
Goes for windscreen Tuesday and hopefully to Brisbane Yamaha Friday.
That being the case may have sea trial in 2 weeks.
Feel like a little kid couting down to xmas![]()

Re: OZ Craft 640
Boat is coming along nicely! I hope the guys at Brisy Yamaha treat you well. I had an Ozcraft 640 made and purchased through kratzmans at Burpengary. It was a pig of a boat! I had a huge issue with a severe list to starboard. I tried everything including moving the batteries for even weight distrubution which did not help. I contacted the people at Kratzmans on many occassions to ask for help and they did not want to know about it! The only answer i kept getting was "we have never had this probłem before" I asked them to come out for a run in the boat but was always given an excuse why they couldn"t. I explained that it was that bad that i was going to sell it, but as usual they did not take it seriously and just stuffed me around with excuses. Needless to say i may have just bought a dud but the service or lack off has ensured i will never go back there. Good luck with your boat, they are really solid. Cheers

Re: OZ Craft 640
Hey Scrotty,
Thanks for the post.
This is a new boat built by a different boat builder.
I have heard of the old OZcraft boat which i think maybe the boat you are talking about.
This boat is a performance plate boat re badged with Brisbane Yamahas OZ Craft Brand.
