Ok so $350 is not bad then. Carry on everyone, you all still have work to do. It isn't happy hour yet!!

not a lot in parts to a service on a carby 2 stroke, a bit of gear oil, a water pump (maybe) and some plugs, no computer to look at, no oil filters and stuff to fool about with, just some pretty routine adjustments and so on, buy yourself a genuine manual and start dong the simple stuff yourself, then if you feel confident later on, tackle some bigger stuff.

Get a compression test done and keep a record of the numbers. That way you may spot troubles later on if the numbers don't match up or are uneven. Only take a few minutes and check teh colour of teh old plugs.

I have same motor and am half considering going in early for it.... Maybe at 75-80 hrs. Currently at 65.
Just wanting to treat her to new oils etc. Any thoughts on this particular madness?

If you can happily afford it Walrus, and you want the peace of mind........shouldn't be too much to be done, maybe replace impellor if necessary plus new plugs, gear oil and check engine tune/carby syc. Still brand new I'd reckon, or better (run in).
