    There are a few locals on here from Yeppoon or Rocky
    I've got a 30ft longboat "LongPlay" 225Honda around the same range 130km each way with a safety margin
    how'd you guys go, I saw you coming down the beach in the last couple of days sometime when I was coming home from work

    Have a 4.8 center console with a 115 Suzuki on the back
    120L fuel tank and work on about 2kms per liter
    Have fished Corio heads, pinnacles, up round flat/perforated and out to the ferns also been south east towards north west about 80kms out

    boat should do 200nm on a tank so safe range of maybe 70nm but don't think I would be comfortable much more than 50nm from the harbour.

    Thinking of heading out Friday if the weathers good . Really keen to chase the spanos so might go to Flat and then nick out to the close fern after.

    we had absolute shocker on friday night manage only 2 red emp, 2 rosy jobs, 1 black jew, 1 XOS long fin snapper, 1 nice grunter, 1 grassy sweetlip and one moses perch flat as a tack 100km nne of harbour fished about 50 spots drift and anchor all sounded fish, for very average result.

    gday all in yeppoon 5.2mt hydrofield center console, pinacles and flat and wreck past barren about my limit and fuel cap . love to get back out further again have to wait for mate to finish working on his boat and get back out at night ,,cheers

    Call sign FishA Bit,n 200 suzi
    Generally fish 50/60 nm range east of harbour.
    Like fishing the ground other side of green zone east of the claras.
    Live in glenlee.

    16 foot CruiseCraft call sign WitchCraft.

    Got enough fuel to cover about 300km round trip but new to the area so have only done one wide trip about 65 km out. Live at Tanby.

    hey fellas
    21 foot ally craft twin fifty four strokes probably around 100nm round trip
    been chasing the billfish around barren and have picked up first marilin in yeppoon. looking for any info on billfish around here.

    want to get into the reds at some stage soon.

    Stacer 5.25 Bowrider. 90 Opti on back. 100ltr + 20ltr reserve under floor.
    Normally fish t'ween Barren. flat\Perforated. Pinnacles and Manifold.
    Sometimes the wrecks a bit further N.
    Mainly by myself.
    Lures\jigs only. Don't bottom fish. and only pull in a Spanno or Cobe for a feed.
    Occasionally.
    I'd rather buy a feed. Scaled and cooked at chippie shop on way home.

    hey mates
    just bought me first boat 6.4m trailcraft sportscab 150hp merc 2stroke efi got 250lt tank but haven't done the sums for fuel economy but think its roughly 1lt a km, eager to get out on the water but the electrical side is a mess. just fished around corio heads and flat atm eager to get out an adventure. thinking of calling her 'my home loan'
