Re: Boat hits whale, Bribie Island fisherman flipped into ocean
Damn.. I was off the North tip of Morteon the other day heading to the Artificials and in 7m of crystal clear water I had 2 whales breach about 10m off my starboard bow with no warning >< I'm a little paranoid about whales at the best of times but this just makes me friggin nervousThey're nice to watch when you're stationary but not when you're on the plane.

Ever had your sounder suddenly go to 0 meters then a few minutes later have a whale surface not far from your boat? They are scary fockers....

They where like flea's off Moreton today had one swim across back of boat then surface 10-15 ft to the side of boat, lucky to only loose the one line
Maybe I'll get some Carbon Tech washers for next trip !

Will have to paint the jap flag under the hull if these things keep multiplying at this rate. Getting dangerous out there in winter.
You can't be neutral on a moving train
