Freedom Elite...Thoughts?
Details:
- Freedom Elite 6.2m
- 2000 model boat
- 175 hp 2 stroke Johnson (170 hours / no idea of year)
- All the gear; GPS, epirb, radio, sounder etc
- Good condition multi-roller trailer
Price is just over the $20,000 mark. Can't find anything that compares online.
I just wondered if anyone had owned a Freedom boat before? Or perhaps had any idea what it might be worth? I've read up on them new. They seem to be neat and tidy but slightly below par for the cost of a new boat.
Cheers!

Re: Freedom Elite...Thoughts?
we owned one with a 140 suzuki 4 stroke and sometimes wished we had a 150 or a 175, but it ran on the smell of an oily rag. it was an awesome boat though, no frills with a pricetag to match. they're a little light and weigh about the same as a comparable size signature but don't weigh as much as a seafarer or similar, obviously this means they won't ride as well as a heavier offshore hull but we used ours in the northern bay and found it handled our choppy conditions pretty well. i duno how much one is worth in the current market but $20k seems pretty reasonable depending on the condition of everything.
