Mooloolabab bar Latest

I spent last weekend at mooloolaba for a sailing regatta. All 30 boats racing draw 6ft plus and made it in on load tide. No issues. Small breakers were seen maybe once every 10-15mins. Mainly 250m past the rockwalls. Although it was a good weather weekend. With small swell and light breezes.

That was only as good as the day of the survey. Since then the dredges had a bit of good weather the end of last week and then this week we have had some big swells again silting it up. One of the charter boats here had a test go this afternoon and he went way down to the west but one of the pilot boats came straight in. Certainly a bit of swell on it and you are still going to need to pick your tides and decide if you are going straight out or down to the west.

I did head out bar was fine. No dramas at all. Pitty the fish didnt want to play the game. Was very quiet out there as well as windy. Plenty of water on the way back in an hour after low. Should have gone to work/ (F$%# that beats workin)
