Anchor size for Kevlacat 2400

Hi guys, just wondering what anchor and size people use on there kevlacat 2400, Going to use a Super sarca but just debating either size 2 or 3?????

Mate I use a size 3 on my 2400, def would not use any less

I wouldn't worry too much, being a Sarca you probably won't own it long anyway.

not sure what u mean jerk and wined.a plough works fine for mine everwhere inside the bay.outside i use a maloolaba pick when i anchor...i guess use whatever works for u...plough and maloolaba pick works fine on my 2400kc so thats what i use

Yeah a mate of mine runs a Manson plough on his 18 cat rates it very highly. My 16 tripped plough is doing the job just fine tho but if i donate it to the bottom a Manson may be on the cards. I have 8m of closelink chain so it hooks up very well but is a bit heavy to retrieve but its a small sacrifice.

And you must trip the plough anchor or you will lose it quickly to the reef. I use 1 10mm cabletie it breaks 50% of the time when running it off so its a perfect balance. Never once has it broken while anchored up and ive been running this way for a long time. Cheers
