Springs for 1990 Patrol / Maverick
Hi guys,
A mate of my son has a 1990 2 door Maverick that he has to get roadworthy inspection to re-register.
The previous owner (for some unknown reason) lowered the vehicle by cutting the springs.
The kid is putting himself through uni and has limited spending capability.
Any ideas for where he can get his hand on a set of springs that will pass inspection?
Thanks in advance.

I would think any suspension shop fitting a set of new ones as part of an upgrade would have a set of good condition standard height lying around. A six pack would just about cover it for the springs. As for fitting can't help ya on that.

Never bought anything from them but drive past some days on the way to work and they always seem busy

Depending on $$ willing to spend and wether he's handy on the spanners, I got a set of the bluepac springs and shocks off eBay (about $550) and they have been great, and have racked up a few kays on em
