Re: Borumba dam
I was there last weekend trying for redclaw and did a little fishing. didnt catch anything myself on lures. tried spinner baits and hard bodies. There was a few fish on the sounder about 6-10m down where all the timber starts in the middle of the dam. Didnt here of anyone else doing any good. i did catch some shrimp overnight in the pots and used them to get a couple of small bass.
got about 5-8 redclaw in each pot overnight and a couple during the day. found kidney and rockmelon worked. Kidney was probably better. didnt get anything on steep ledges, only on the flats. anywhere from 3m to 7m deep.
