air bags for 06 Hilux

Hi All

Looking at putting air bags on the back of my 06 Hilux.

Anyone had any trouble with them, good reports and best placeto buy?

I had a set installed in my 08 hilux by ARB and its the best thing i have had done on it. Especially towing my boat, i have 180kg of downward weight on the ball so i put 20psi in the bags and it tows like a dream.

I have had air helpers or air springs in every car I have owned, best simple mod to do, especially if regularly changing loads and you dont want to be stuck with stiff springs when unloaded.

Dont bother with bellows though, they are far more expensive and really allot of blokes do use them as an excuse to overload, used correctly they are fine but I have seen some cracked chassis at the mount for the bellows from overloading...

Normal Spring assists bags are fine, they are good for about 350kgs in addition to the leaf springs which is plenty for most appications.
