Northstar 538 plotter
I am wanting to save all my waypoints to my C Map card in the Northstar 538 Plotter.I have read through the manual I downloaded, but cannot see anything that helps.I am keen to save them as the screen is starting to disappear in places, so I would like to get all the info out before it dies.Any help appreciated.

Gday Giffo,I have a C Map bathymetric card but i don't think you can save directly to the card,I have a Trackfish 6500.You can get a C Map User Card which I think is for this purpose.I too have to get all my marks out of the Trackfish and onto a Navionics style card.I think once the card is in the unit you go into the Display and choose Other then select User Card and go from there.Hope this helps.Jim

Re: Northstar 538 plotter
Thanks Jim,I have read in the instruction manual about a user card, are they very expensive ? Below is an excert from the user manual as to why I thought the C Map card could be used.
C-MAP™ user cards are used to store
navigation data. Each user card expands the
Explorer 538/538i memory and allows the
data to be transferred to another Explorer
538/538i easily (see section 14).
I have been through section 14 and no joy !
