Re: bremer River
Hi Brad,
As a kid my friends and I would go down near the warrego bridge at the back of bundamba. We were catching bream, flathead and a lot of catfish, as growing up we always got told don't eat anything out of the river.
I can recall my friend eating a flathead once, and he didn't end up growing an extra finger, but IMO I would use the Bremer river more for a sport than looking for a feed.
Good things come to those who bait

Re: bremer River
There's a stack of bass & also threadfin salmon getting caught up the Bremer River ATM, same place, same lures etc as they bust into the mullet schools. Some info & pics on the reports section of sweetwater. HERE>>>
I wouldn't eat anything from the Bremer River, but you don't need to fill the esky to have a good fishing trip, take a pic & let them go.
** Note that the bass closed season starts at the end of the month, cant target them, can't take them.
Cheers,
fitzy..
