And last but not least thanks everyone for your advice and encouragement it has been quite a journey with the boat
Also thank you Ausfish family for your offers of support, thoughts and prayers for little chappie, his journey has been two years now with the cancer and still some to go before we make him all good again but he deserves nothing less

NBI just featured on creek to coast, according to Jason Lee the three tenants of NBI are: safety (for offshore), quality, ride. They have their heritage in Redcliffe but are now made "off shore". They have 4? Boats being auctioned with no reserve at the riverside boatshow.

Re: Noble Boat <2yo Cracked and Sinking
I received an email from Andrew Galway yesterday and would like to take this opportunity to thank him and his boating magazine for putting into it an article about my boat saga and offering advice on the resolution - essentially getting J&B Marine to effectively pursue Noble Boats to resolve the repairs and calling upon them both to do the right thing.
I would also like to thank Mal Holland reporter of Sydney Telegraph for pursuing Noble Boats and their lawyer threatening a national newspaper story which also assisted in getting a result.
News on the boat now is it sits in my driveway under cover awaiting me to have health and time to reassemble the fueltank , floor, trimtabs, transducers etc and then get back on the water - I will make this a project closer to Christmas when I can enjoy this process.
As for me I had an operation three weeks back to remove gallbladder and stone blocking the common duct and the surgeon broke a needle inside me which required two x-rays and an extra 2 hours of digging about to retrieve it so this combined with an infection has slowed my recovery considerably.
News with my little boy is he has scans this Monday and major surgery on Thursday to his lungs - one at a time weeks apart or both same day depending the results of Mondays scan - we will know when we discuss with surgeon following scan - the oncologist is describing this operation as a big deal - we do not approach it lightly.
Thanks to everyone who has followed my boat repairs and the entwined story of my boy and for your help, support and encouragement.
For now our family focus is on my little boy and hope that next year brings us happiness and health.
Cheers

I hesitate to post because my words feel so inadequate. But then I thought what if we all held back because we have nothing unique or useful to add.
Trev if good wishes mean anything in this universe, then there is a tidal wave of positive thoughts coming to you and your family from the Ausfish family.
I hope and trust that your family will enjoy a joyous Christmas celebrating the start of the good times. We all are really looking forward to smiling 'boy in boat' photos.
And the odd fish photo....![]()

The Agony of Aging
On the morning that daylight savings ended I stopped in to visit my aging friend.
He was busy covering his richard with black shoe polish.
I said to him, "You better get your hearing checked - You're supposed to turn your clock back".
