Anyone else in and around north Brisse entering the Pirtek Fishing Challenge?
Hey there everyone, just wondering who is taking part in this years Pirtek FishingChallenge?
I'm thinking about entering,
all proceeds are going towards a great cause, and i cant get any better excuse than donating to the prostate cancer foundation to go fishing all day.

Cheers
Dave.

mr squiggles.
well not everyone knows his secret jew spot, cause no ones told me about it...
i guess the problem with planing an area to fish is that we dont find out what the target species is untill the night before the comp.
where abouts are you guys from? you going to be land based or boat based for the comp?

Just outside Dayboro mate. Will probably be land only as the good lady is not a boatie person although sometimes that's not too bad a thing, hey. My brother moved to Kingscliff a few years ago so we may go down there & if so ,will have to fish to Cockroach targets or that's how I read it. Keep in touch though as most of my plans for fishing go A over T most of the time caused by events beyond my control![]()

I to have entered for the first time, I'm from Toowoomba and will be fishing the Murray River Darling Basin. I'm surprised the little knowledge people have of this comp on this site.

im looking to start in the pine river, hopefully Flathead is on the target list, as i have a cracker spot X as a back up if pine river fails to produce the goods. The good thing about having a small boat is it is going to be quite easy to pull it out of the water and relocate if necessary.
