Re: Dual batteries
in the tray. under the tray if you build a bracket and use dry cell battery, buy one of those under tray storage boxes and fit in there. The sky is the limit does ARB or TJM make a tray for in the engine bay there is also opposite lock that make alot of that stuff too.

Re: Dual batteries
I used a battery box with isolator switch nicely tucked away . This way its portable . Maybe an option

Re: Dual batteries
i had dual batteries in my old bravo,,, both fitted under the bonnet,,,(initially i had it in the toolbox on the tray but moved it back) TJM make a bracket that bolts to the firewall but i'm unsure if this will be the same for a 2003 model as mine was a few years older,,, still the motor sizes haven't increased so if you shop around you should be able to save a few $$ by retaining it in the engine bay

Re: Dual batteries
Im not well atm and on some pretty hardcore meds. I actually completely read it wrong. I thought he said where can I FIND a second battery. Meaning 1 that could fit in the small space he has under the bonnet.

Re: Dual batteries
Yep. Custom made organic plated, super high torque cover with adjusted diaphram pivot point. 120% stronger than stock, organic means soft engadging. Basically 1 up on a safari cutch. Very nice, and not hard. Impervious to dust and mud. Will handle my new hp and torque figures. So I shouldnt have to worry for about 10 years.

Re: Dual batteries
If it is a diesel then you can fit a second battery in front of the airbox, however you will need to cut off the intake noise suppressor box (I just used an appropriately sized welsh plug with some "goo" to plug the hole).
The TJM and piranha trays only fit a 10 inch battery, I managed to squeeze a 12 inch battery in witha bit of a hybrid Sidewinder tray (ditch the 10 inch tray and grab a 12 inch from Supercheap using Dereks bracketry).
Not saying it was as secure as I would have liked but had I have kept the vehicle I would have done something to strengthen it.

Re: Dual batteries
I'd look at the AGM battery mounted under the tray in the rear.
