Also if your the skipper and using artificials and the deckies are using bait they are required to place a single squid or pilchard down there pants for the duration of the competition

HEY TIM IT WAS 9-2 for the bait over the arti's...havn't seen scalem's report yet is he still looking for a fish to bring home...lol

We fished hard Rosco, not a lot around but Matt outfished me and I took a photo of an AJ that would have been double the size of anything you caught Again, Artificials rule when it comes to trophies, not just to put supper on the table Athough that was a nice gesture for you to do that, you did get a good feed mate, well done.

I'll leave it up to Matt to put up the photo.

UPDATE

netmaker is putting up another catergory "Biggest Grinner" caught on bait or artificials. You must bring it to the weigh in though.


The prize will be a free 2012 wage earners tax return


Also it has to be given to rosco so his family will have something for dinner

What about a "sharking" prize, who looses the best fish to the sharks. Must be a shark bite no "imposters" , weigh in on the biggest head left from the shark?
Reckon I can take out the biggest grinner, going to be tough getting past the snapper to find the biggest grinner.

What about the best fish caught from the jetty. can be pretty tough but it would be interesting to see someone other than fish feeding tourists try Now is about the time of year when the bonito and tailor come in there so maybe worthwhile giving it a go
