My last order from the states shipped with UPS took 24 hours to sydney and then two days to brisbane .

Last thing I bought from the US that was sent by USPS took seven weeks. Ask the seller when you buy something to send it by another means until they sort it out. USPS is suffering from industrial action at the mo I am led to believe....

Most stuff i have got from the states takes 2- 4weeks for it hit my door..

If it came from the states why are the Dates all over the place?

My recent order looks like this, should get it in 4 days or so (pretty sure this is Fedex International Priority Service).

Dunno what you'r referring to Dan. I take it USPS just set out their info a little differently to FEDEX.

I've never got anything from the U.S in under two weeks.

So your has not left US shore.
Maybe the East has longer shipping.
Mine coming from CA does not have to travel far till it hits the plane out of country.
Priority shipping is a good option, might cost you $20.00 more, but if you want the gear fast.

In saying that I get most my stuff from the USA in 10 working days, mostly around 2 weeks (without priority shipping) .

10 working days seems to be the norm for USPS First Class Mail International.
As ShaneC states, some industrial action happening there atm re possible job/conditions losses.

I wonder how much people are paying for UPS as my reference is shoes and clothes that weigh less than 3kg with a shipping cost of 70 dollars and 3 days to my door over the weekend. Surface mail from the states is close to 3 weeks

As far as work goes we place an order on a Thursday which is Wednesday in the states of up to 16 pallets and we have them at the door on Monday mostly depending on customs .

Looks a lot like a shipment of mine recently which took about 5 weeks from memory. Seemed to sit around in the sorting facility forever.

yeah well good luck to you if you can get it within a week. I've never been able to, and I've bought quite a few things now from lures to Sounders. I'm in no great rush as each time I save a shed-load on what I'd be able to buy for locally. I don't mind waiting, just wanted to point out for people considering buying overseas that the shipping time can be quite long.

I've had things turn up in a week while others took 5 weeks. I found that paying priority was pointless as these items took longer...
