Beard... (moe) how to seal your dive mask?

Anyone got any old tricks to make your mask seal to your face when your facial hair (beard/moe) is bushing up? I used vasoline jelly on the w/e. Which worked well, but had to keep reapplying and looked wranked according to my dive mates.

    Screaming float lines!

Need to keep the beard, to protect me face from the sun (cancer) from the long dayz ahead trolling for mackeral. Well that's what I keep telling the boss. Yeah I was a tad worried about the petrollium jelly eating into my good mask. No bad signs of yet tho.

Sounds odd, but brush your beard when it's wet after a shower, if you can keep all the hair in the same direction you shouldn't get as much crossing of hairs and the mask should stay tighter on your face without little gaps everywhere. Sounds a bit limp wristed I know but unless you've got a beard that's so thick it houses small mammals this should help.
