Condolences to the family and friends, i think everyone knows there is a danger each time you go into the water but its a tradegy anyway you look at itIf love is blind, why is lingerie so popular???

seen an abalone boat at windy harbour WA they have a cage for divers as the sharks harrass them there.probably attracted by the action of getting them off the rocks

Yes, its always sad news,
I met a couple of AB divers at Coffin bay some years ago, great guys actually, I had lost an anchor there and they offered to retrieve it for free, and picked it up on their way back from a days work, apparently, its a ledge that "traps" a few anchors
What I did find interesting was that they both had one of those shark repellent gadgets and said that the product works well but when returning to the boat, (looked about 25-30ft alloy), they got an electric shock when they got close to the boat so both switched the gadget off when near the boat
My condolences go out to his family
