Thats Askari a 55'' Assegai , that thing is a pure fishing machine with 2030 hp and at WOT 39 knots and burning 400 lph . When we did the sea trials its on the plan quicker than a 12" tiny with a 25 ,took it out over the sea way with a good 2 m swell rolling in and it just carved it up .When i win the lotto the uncle will be the first to know .

Backing down on a big fish is adrenaline pumping. It however can be much more fun watching here on the computer rather than standing on the deck in rough weather.

Nothing like SOLID waves going straight over your head and having a foot of water rolling around in the bottom of the boat.

There are actually three boats in it, "Dreamin On" a 78 Garlington that was bought over for the Cairns season on the back of one of those boat transporting ships that are like dry docks, "Askari" as mentioned and "Sea Baby IV". Corey Hard drives "Askari", Chris "Sharky" Myles leased "Sea Baby IV" for the season and Simon Carosi was helping the US skipper from "Dreamin On" out. The owner of "Dreamin On" booked the other two boats plus the mother boat "Emerald Lady" for a couple of weeks of fishing for his mates from the good ole USA. They are from Colorado and made their money in wheat mills.
