    hello everyone,

We are new to Townsville. Can i please have a few GPS spots around Magnetic Island and Rattlesnake island. We are in a 5.2 metre fibreglass boat launching from Bushland Beach. Thanks, Alan

    Hey mate,
theres alot of places off bushy that you could start at.
Burdekin rock is just out the front of the Bohle (s19.07.576,e146.42.626) is usually pretty good for macks around this time of year. Theres also abit of a hole off the SW side of it that i've got some nice reefies in at time.
The West point barge wreck (s19.08.620, e146.45.210) sometimes holds just legal nannies at times and i've also got doggies on floated pillies there.
North of bushie there are also alot of shoals running up the coast from about 5km of the coast.
If your going out at night make sure you take a spottie and a net cause there are alot of squid out there and the Fingermark love them live!
