Im new to the boating side of fishing, mainly been a jetty/rock/beach fisher, will be fishing mainly from Wallaroo and Whyalla chasing whiting, squid etc in close then out deeper for snapper and shark.

Only ever fished salt water but just love fishing.

Good onya, plenty of info to be gleaned from this site.
Is the area u r in where they have an annual run of lobsters, quite a few of the old fellas from around here go down that way each year, not sure of the exact location.

Im not totally sure, i have a feeling that lobsters were more out Pt Lincoln way but i could be wrong.

I have a mate that has been posted to Whyalla so i fish with him a bit out that way, he has recently got back from Coffin Bay where they got a fair feed of blue tuna so im told.
