Landrover or Nissan

Is Nissan comming out with a new Diesel motor sometime soon????I am wanting to get rid of this POS troopy (07 model) goes through more oil than a E tec

Took a new landrover wagon turbo diesel for a run yesterday and boy did it wow me, but i think it may be a bit too flash for me. Next in line is the Nissan but i dont want the 3l and dont want a second hand 4.2l , but did hear Nissan is going to have a new motor out soon or is it just a rumor.

I would like to here from landrover owners on how/what they are like, late modles only and not a pub tail that a friend of a friend was told, way too many threads on Ausfish tend to go pear shape, keep it real

Mate - I love both my high mile Land Rovers - both V8's but running gear is basically the same (my newest is an 02). As Blaze said go to Aulro and ask. Good fellas with honest info. The Puma motors and puma build Deefers did have a few issues early on but I think they are sorted by now. One thing with LR is that whilst you might get the odd niggle (and I havent had those to be honest) the running gear and structure is bloody bloody strong.
