offshore sp rod
is a pfluger asaro sp722h rod suitable for offshore sp fishing it is a 7ft 2 6-10kg rod,was going to buy an engrell but mo-tackle has a sale on these at the moment and for $99 ,just wondering if it was an ideal starter sp rod ,

rosco1974 - The asaro SP722H will do the job, i'm not sure if you know but the SP722H is a 2 piece rod, if you don't really like 2 piece rods then i would spend an extra $10 at MO and get the Shimano Raider II Snapper Hvy 701 1 piece spin 5-10kg.
Timddo has the Snapper Hvy 701 fitted with a 4000 size daiwa tierra, it's a pretty good combo for chucking sp's offshore.

cheers for that info tim,didn't know they where a 2 piece rod,lost interest in them now,will look at the raider rods now,cheers rosco
