Baffle Ck or Woodgate

Hi guys, looking at going camping early Dec. Just wondering what your thoughts are. Baffle Ck - Baffle Bobs Caravan & Camping Park or Woodgate Beach Tourist Park. Sold the boat so will be doing beach fishing and river fishing. Any experience with either site, facilities etc? What about fishing?

John, Ihave camped at both places and liked both. If i was without a boat my choice would definately be Woodgate. I just think it will offer more especially if you have a 4wd. Hope this helps

I have stayed at Burrum Point a few times. Its just south of Woodgate shops, there is softish sand track that leads to the back of the camping area where there are 12 exclusive spots. Or you can take the boarded beach ramp and take a short trip along the beach around to the Burrum River and enter camp there.

I have caught plenty of Dart there over the years, nice and easy sand driving too.

Both good spots jclaw and another to consider is on the Kolan River a place called Miara. Another top spot up Bundy way. Bruce
