Transom Replacement CruiseCraft
I have a Cruisecraft Outsider 580, I have noticed a bit of water ingress /soft rot in the transom under the skin fittings in the engine well.The motor is off at the moment and the mount holes look ok. Can this be treated or would whole transom need replacing. Any ideas how much to replace transom or repair. Any recommended repairers. I think Grand Marlin does this work can someone give me his mobile number. Thanks Paul

I'd be interested to know how often this type of work should be done.
Is there a way of getting this checked out without pulling it to bits?

Hi Paul
If you want to learn a bit about transom cancer just do an advanced search under "transom" in this section. It had me tapping my transom late at night with a spanner. Lots of info there.
You could always pm grand marlin and judging by many comments, he's the man.
