Or give a little spray with Lanox
I reckon they're better left open and a good water repellent used then trying to plug the socket with the possibility of water getting in and sitting there.
I intend on living for-ever....so far so good

They are the genuine conxall caps. Will cost you a motza shipped from the US though. There is a company that I used to work for at caboolture called monitor sensors that used to stock them and still should if the company still exists.
BUT. I tend to agree with Finga on this one. I sprayed inox into the connectors of my lowrance sounder and have never had a problem. The connectors are more likely to corrode if you have a cap in them and the water manages to get in and cant get out. At least without a cap the water can run out.

I am using the cap off a toothpaste tube. Fits straight over it!!!! Paul Big Ren showed me and it works great.
