Golden Trevally In The Brisbane River?

Hi i fished near the mouth of the brisbane river yesterday and i was suprised when i pulled up a nice little golden trevally i thought oh that must be the only one only to drop our baits again to see me lose one and my uncle catching another one although they were about 30cm i was suprised that you could pick up one or two. was it luck or do they come in?

    regards,
    keechie

My brother has caught a diamond trev there a while ago on a 2" P/S powerbait, it went 42cm. Good fun on 6lb!

    Cheers, Mick.

Nothing unusual about goldens in the Brissie River. Been lots more odder catches than those outa the brissie.
