Water, water everywhere!
What a great week and a half for Queensland impoundments!
Here's a quick summary (updates in bold then in italics then underlined then in red):
Wivenhoe - up over 23% and steady
Somerset - over 81% and steady (highest level in 7 years!)
NPD - over 31.5% and steady
Monduran - 31% and rising (up over 3m) in last 48 hours
Borumba - 92% and rising
Boondooma - 50% and rising
Glenlyon - 38% and steady
Moogerah - 46% and steady
Maroon - 61% and steady
Coolmunda - 100% and steady
Leslie - 28% and steady
Atkinson Dam - 12% and steady (was completely empty!!)
Awoonga - 47.5% and rising - up 3.5m in last 48 hours
Fairburn, Eungella, Kinchant & Burdekin - 100% and steady
Teemburra - 90% and rising
Bjelke Petersen Dam 17% and rising
Tinaroo 78% and rising
Bill Gunn Dam 17% and steady (up from 1%!)
Lake Lenthall 100% and overflowing
Paradise Dam 33% (up from 16%) -
Hinze Dam 100% and overflowing
Peter Faust Dam - up to 50% and rising
Cania - up 2% to 7% and rising ......
The list goes on and the best news.....more widespread rain for Queensland expected for the last week of February.

Looking good, thanks for report.
Will help impove all the impoundments, still a few need a bit more but its a good start.
Looking forward to fishing a few of them in the next 2 to 4 months, all good.
It will help with the farms and all the rural areas as well.

The list goes on and the best news.....more widespread rain for Queensland expected for the rest of February, heavy rain in the last week.

Sorry mate, wedding or not we need the rain!
Anyway - its supposed to be good luck if it rains on your wedding day!
Best of both worlds - its pisses down for the last week in Feb and clears up beautifully for your special day.![]()

The graff on BOM web site indicates Waruma rose about 6 or 7 mts today, pretty quickly to.
