I'm on the south side so i'm out, but there's a heap of younger guys (13-20ish) who are great at the lures who post reguarly in the reports.

Maybe get in touch with a few of them and hitch a train ride to a localized point and make a day of it

Dan, as you would guess the weather has played a bit of a dampener on things, I had one trip out Yesterday only because Poodroo ( my brother) wanted to show off his new 4 mtr bluefin - I have been thinking about ringing you but it's not the best weather.

I can vouch for Scalem being trustworthy. I guess I have to seeing as I am related. I am also a plastics fisho and I am sure there would be plenty of chances on weekends to come out in my boat as well so long as we could meet up at the ramp or something.
